All Virginia Techniques Levels 8-10 gymnasts qualify to Regional Competitions

Virginia Techniques Gymnasts qualified for Regional competition this weekend at the level 8/9/10 State Championships. The state competition was held in VA Beach on March 31 - April 1.

In the level 8 competition, Lindsay Horton (age 13) scored a 35.425 placing her 10th in the Senior A division. Her 10th place ranking earned her a spot at Level 8 Regionals on May 5th and 6th. The competition will take place at the Parkettes National Gymnastics Training Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Katie Sallie (age 12), scored a 34.00 in the all-around to advance her to the Level 9 Regional Championships. The competition is hosted by Leigh Valley Sports Academy in Allentown, Pennsylvania on April 20-22, 2007.

Colleen Shang (age 17) also scored 34.00 in the competition to qualify her to Regionals. Colleen will continue her season at the Region 7 Gymnastics’ Level 10 Championships on April 28th-29th. The competition will be held at Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex in Landover, Maryland.
