This
recreational class is designed to offer basic cheerleading
instruction in the topics of jumps, cheers, tumbling, and stunting.
The class was established for those students that want to
participate in cheerleading yet do not wish to compete on one of our
competitive teams. Boys and girls ages five are welcome to
participate. No cheerleading experience is required! Stay tuned for a possible exhibition routine from this group at one of our exhibition dates for the competitive squads. |

GEOFFREY NEELY: Geoffrey is currently a undergraduate student at Virginia Tech pursuing a degree in Mathematics with aspirations for medical school. His background includes multiple types of performance including theatre, musical theatre, dance, and cheerleading. Specifically, Geoffrey was a member and the manager of his high school cheerleading squad during his junior year. When Geoffrey was accepted to VT, he tried out for the Virginia Tech Spirit Program and further was placed on the Junior Varsity Cheerleading Squad and before the end of the season, was made captain. As for his tumbling experience, he has been flipping on trampolines and in backyards for years. This is Geoffrey's first year coaching a cheerleading team and has had nothing short of a BLAST doing so. He is extremely excited to join the Virginia Techniques team and specifically the ROCKERS Cheer Program. GOOOOO ROCKERS!
