Colleen Shang receives the first annual Kassidy J. Foster Memorial Scholarship
to offset competitive expenses for the
2007-2008 competition season. The
scholarship was established by the
Virginia Techniques Booster Club and was
awarded to a gymnast that exhibited the
qualities Kassidy taught us... good
sportsmanship, great attitude and
dedication to gymnastics!
If honor and memory of Kassidy's life,
Virginia Techniques Gymnastics hung five
2' X 6' banners in the gym with
inspiring quotes from Kassidy's journal.
Courtney gives the Kassidy
Foster Memorial Vault Award to Chelsea Young, Olympiad Gymnastics.
Chelsea won the award with a 9.5 on vault in the level 7 Senior Division.

Gymnasts and Boosters Remember Kassidy!
"Paragon Gymnastics is
saddened by the loss of a fellow gymnast, Kassidy Foster, and
held a sleepover fundraiser in her honor September 8, 2007.
The Foster Family, Danny,
Tammy and Courtney Foster attended the event along with 6 other
Virginia Techniques gymnasts. A total of 132 children from
Paragon and the community attended the event.
The PPA and Paragon
raised a total of $2,241.50 for the Foster family. Coach Craig
added a nice short but sweet speech."
