CHRISTINA SPAKO: Christina Spako has been involved in competitive gymnastics for 3 years and competitive cheerleading for 7 years and training for 9 years. This is her 2nd year as coach and choreographer for middle and high school cheerleading squads. After being involved in competitive gymnastics for 3 years, and on my school cheerleading squad for 2 years, she left competitive gymnastics and began competitive cheerleading and coaching tumbling classes. In her 5th year of cheerleading, she joined Mardi Gras Elite's level 6 co-ed collegiate squad and worked Mardi Gras Nationals for 1 year. Christina has also cheered for Elmwood Galaxy All Stars and still compete with them. Last year, along with Orlondo, she coached and choreographed a level 3 middle school squad. They brought home 2 first place trophies. Christina was captain of her high school squad and assisted in choreographing the routine. We brought home 2 first place trophies and 1 grand champion award in the high school division. She has also taught several camps in the past 4 years.
ORLONDO MORTIMER:
Orlondo has
been doing competitive cheerleading for 9 years and
coaching for 8. He cheered at the University of New
Orleans for 1 1/2 years and at Tulane University for
5 years. Orlondo has done choreography for different
teams across the country and also for the Helsinke
Roosters in Finland and for Blue Flash cheerleading
in Ulm, Germany who won the 2003 German Nationals.
He's coached small and large Junior All-Girl, small
Junior Co-ed, and Senior Open. He's competed in
college open levels 5 and 6 and currently competes
with Elmwood Galaxy All Stars.
